Interactive coaching with Jennifer and Darrell is designed to help you build greater consistency, coordination, clarity, and expressive freedom in your singing.
Each masterclass combines high-level technical insight with practical application in repertoire and performance. You may work on vocal coordination, tricky passages, interpretation, presentation, or the specific challenges that arise in the music you bring.
Jennifer and Darrell respond to the individual singer in front of them, helping you connect technical choices to more compelling, communicative performance.
Live online & in-person
As a singer, you’ll work directly with Jennifer or Darrell on your own repertoire, receiving individualized technical and interpretive coaching in a focused, supportive group setting.
As an observer, you’ll listen to detailed vocal and performance work unfold in real time. You can follow how technical ideas are applied differently from voice to voice and bring those discoveries into your own singing or teaching.
Masterclasses are valuable for singers, teachers, and students seeking deeper technical understanding, performance refinement, and practical insight.

The Babidge Approach — Open Masterclass
Join Jennifer for a live online masterclass on September 26, 2026, 1–3 PM ET.
Eight singers will receive individual coaching in a supportive masterclass setting. Observers are also welcome to learn from the technical and performance work in real time. Singer: $80, Observer: $30
Some masterclasses focus primarily on technical coordination and practical application within repertoire. Others are more performance-centered, exploring interpretation, communication, presentation, and artistic choices.
In either format, the goal is not simply to solve one moment in one piece. It is to help you understand why something changed, how that change affects the whole instrument, and how you can carry it forward into future singing.
Technical Work Meets Performance
Babidge Studios also offers masterclasses for voice studios, schools, universities, training programs, young artist programs, competitions, and professional arts organizations.
Sessions may be led by Jennifer Welch-Babidge, Darrell Babidge, or collaboratively, depending on the needs of the singers and program.
Masterclasses can be customized around vocal technique, repertoire, interpretation, performance, or a combination of these areas.
