Workshops with Jennifer Welch-Babidge

Curiosity. Exploration. Discovery. Lasting Change.

In Jennifer’s workshops, you’ll explore the coordinations required to achieve freer, more reliable singing. Through “voices-on” guided experimentation, demonstration, observation, and real-time feedback, you’ll leave having uncovered a deeper relationship with your instrument.

You’ll work with technical ideas in ways that connect directly to all types of singing — so breath, support, jaw, tongue, vowels, consonants, registration, and repertoire will quickly integrate, and stay that way.

Jennifer listens closely to what your individual voice is doing and helps you discover adjustments that can create greater freedom, consistency, and ease.

Deep Focus. Immediate Results.

These workshops are for singers who want to go beyond the basic isolated exercises and better understand how technical function carries into singing.

You may be developing your technique, preparing repertoire, working through a recurring challenge, or simply curious about how your voice works. You don’t need to arrive with a particular technical vocabulary — only a willingness to explore.

Whether you participate as a singer or observe Jennifer working with others, you’ll be encouraged to listen closely, make connections, and apply what you discover to your own singing.

The Babidge Approach: Vocal Coordination

Join Jennifer for a four-Saturday online series exploring the coordinations that support freer, more dependable singing.

You’ll move through foundations, physical coordinators, speech into singing, and performance integration, with opportunities to participate actively or learn through observation.

September 5, 12, 19 & 26, 2026 - Limited spots are available.

Expect focused teaching, practical tools, and a strong connection between technical exploration and performance.

Jennifer introduces a concept, works with singers in real time, listens for what changes, and adapts the work to the voice in front of her.

You’ll hear how the same principle may work differently from singer to singer — and begin recognizing what helps your voice function with more freedom, clarity, and reliability.
